Kong Aluminium shock absorption system Kisa

Thanks to the controlled sliding of the rope, KISA (Kong Impact Shock Absorber) is suitable for the creation of shock absorption systems. It can be used in two configurations, through two sets of holes adapted to different string diameters (about 9 mm or 11 mm), allowing various degrees of friction. The user can build his own system that can be created by choosing the most suitable way for the situation, taking into account the types of ropes and connections, the number of forces involved, the weights, the environmental conditions (humidity, dust, snow ... make the rope more rigid and not sliding), wear and tear and anything that could happen during use. If properly evaluated, these parameters will allow you to get a system that is adjusted to your needs. Always remember that the free end of the rope should not come off the KISA, but leave enough length to dissipate the strongest expected shock! As not all configurations and uses can be tested, this device is not a PPE and has not been tested according to EN958.
