Below is a list of useful tips for getting the best results with the trail camera:

• Install the device at about 1.5 m/2 m height, pointing slightly downwards.
• Install the device facing north or south. Do not point the device east or west as sunrise and sunset may trigger false alarms and produce overexposed images.
• To monitor a trail, point the device along the trail rather than perpendicular to it. This allows multiple animals to be seen at once if they pass in a line.
• Clear away branches or grass in front of the device. In windy conditions or high temperatures, they may cause false triggers.
